The Outram Centre, Croydon

About this project

 The Outram Centre is a purpose built low secure unit for the Glen Care Group, which was completed in 2003.

The Outram Centre is divided into three floors, for service users with forensic or complex needs, who require ongoing rehabilitation in a low secure setting.

The floors are divided into male and female single sex units. Each floor has its own lounge and dining area, fully equipped kitchen and laundry room. All bedrooms have en-suite shower and toilet facilities. There is also access to a secure garden.

The female wards specialist for women aged between 18-60 it is a safe haven for women who are vulnerable and present complex problems, due to life circumstances or past histories and in need of specialist rehabilitation and care in a low secure setting due to their severe and enduring mental heath needs.
