2007 – Shortlisted for Pinders Healthcare Design Awards. 

DWA Architects completed The Close Care Home in Burcot, in 2005.

In 2011, phase two of the development was opened,which was a multi million pound extension and renovation, and saw the creation of an exceptionally luxurious dementia, nursing and ABI facility.

The Close is divided into three separate units. The Willows has 31 single en-suite rooms and suites on two floors.

It has a large day lounge, two dining rooms and a patio with access to the garden and grounds. River View has 20 single en-suite rooms, together with a day lounge and dining room.

The Dorchester Suite consists of 29 very large suites together with a lounge overlooking the River Thames and a five metre high vaulted ceiling dining room overlooking our private landscaped gardens.
