Works comprised the redevelopment of Wisewood Forge to form a new care village, known as Loxley Park in the Loxley Valley, West Sheffield. 

Loxley Park is a specially designed Extra Care village, purpose built for people aged 55 and over to live comfortably and independently whilst also providing a secure on-site care service if required.

The complex consists of two building sat next to a fishing lake and the river Loxley. The whole complex is set in 11 acres of woodland valley. Each apartment block contains a variety of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments and communal lounges.

Within the main ‘riverside’ block extra facilities also include Jacuzzi, gym/health suite, computer suite, restaurant and bar, hair salon and convenience shop.

External facilities include fishing lake, bowl and croquet lawns as well as riverside and lake walks.
