Planning approved for dementia care home
Plan to replace empty office in Bracknell with dementia care home has been approved.
Plans submitted to Bracknell Forest Council to knock down an empty office in Bagshot Road and replace it with a 64-bed care home have been approved. The care home will have 25 parking spaces for carers and visitors, a communal garden and a dementia garden. The plan also includes internal communal space, which will give residents the opportunity to socialise with each other.
The proposed scheme is designed to be fully accessible for non-ambulant users with two lifts enabling unrestricted access between the different levels.
