Grand Opening of Residential Home

DWA Architects were delighted to attend the grand opening of 673 Lordship Lane, a residential home in Wood Green, supporting adults with Mental Health and/or Learning Disability needs.


The ceremony took place on Thursday 17th March, with guests welcomed to the event by staff and service users.

Guests were given a tour of the building, starting from the basement flats, to the restaurant on the ground floor, right through to the penthouse, with balconies which boast views of central London. The tours were given by service users, who spoke about how the service had enabled them to live independently.

Dr Datoo, Director of DRS Care spoke at the event, and explained how the Company and their services have evolved over the years, to improve their offering to support individuals.

Following Dr Datoo’s speech was, guest speaker, Councillor Peter Morton from London Borough of Haringey.

The ceremony ended with a vote of thanks, presented by Dr Datoo, in which DWA Architects were thanked for their involvement in the project.
